This Instagram bio generator writes five versions of the 150 characters under your name, from a single sentence about the account. Spaces, line breaks and emoji all count toward the 150, so the limit arrives sooner than it reads.
A bio has two jobs: tell a stranger what this account is, and tell them what happens next. Most bios do the first one twice and skip the second. If somebody lands here from a Reel, they decide in about two seconds whether to follow, and “creating beautiful things daily” gives them nothing to decide with.
The shape that works is three short lines. What it is: “Refill soap, made in Devon.” One detail that proves it: “Five scents, no plastic, no dye.” What to do: “We ship Monday and Thursday.” Line breaks are worth the two characters they cost, because the app renders a wall of text as one grey block. Instagram also trims blank lines at the end, so spacing typed in the app can collapse after saving; pasting a finished bio in survives better.
The words you want to be found for do not belong here. Instagram's search matches your username and your NAME field, not the bio text, which is why local businesses write “Kettle & Co | Coffee Roastery” in the name and keep the bio for the reason to follow. Hashtags in a bio are links, not search bait, and a stack of them just spends characters.
Four things to cut. Emoji as a substitute for a noun, which makes the account unreadable on a screen reader and unsearchable everywhere. “DM for prices” as the whole bio, which asks a stranger to do the work. Slogans that would fit any account in the category. And the phrase “link in bio”, printed directly above the link.
You get one link, so say where it goes. “Book a slot”, “This week's restock”, “Menu and hours” all outperform a bare URL, and the bio is the only place on Instagram where a click has no friction at all.
An aesthetic bio is a real goal, and it comes from restraint rather than decoration: one line per idea, lower case if the account is lower case, one emoji at most, and no centred text made of invisible characters (it breaks on some phones).
