Data Deletion

Last updated: 25 June 2026

This page explains how to delete the data PostPost.ai holds about you, including any data we obtained when you connected a social account such as Facebook, Instagram, or Threads. You can disconnect a single account, delete your whole PostPost.ai account, or ask us to do it for you.

PostPost.ai is a social media management tool. When you use it, we store data such as your account profile, the social accounts you connect (and the access tokens that let us publish on your behalf), your brand information, the content you create or schedule, and engagement/analytics data we retrieve from connected platforms. You can remove any of this at any time using the options below.

Option 1 — Disconnect a connected social account

To remove the data tied to a single connected platform (for example, your Facebook Page, Instagram, or Threads profile):

  1. Sign in to PostPost.ai and open Settings → Connections (or the channel list inside your Brand).
  2. Find the account you want to remove and choose Disconnect.

Disconnecting immediately revokes our access, deletes the stored access token, and removes the data we synced from that platform (such as account identifiers, retrieved posts, and analytics for that channel). Content you already scheduled through that channel is cancelled.

Removing PostPost.ai from the Meta side

You can also revoke our access directly from your Meta account, which signals us to delete the data we obtained through it:

When you remove the app on Meta, we treat it as a deletion request for the data we received through that connection and delete it on our side as described below.

Option 2 — Delete your entire PostPost.ai account

To delete your account and all associated data:

  1. Sign in and open Settings → Account.
  2. Choose Delete account and confirm.

This permanently removes your profile, connected accounts and their access tokens, brand data, generated and scheduled content, and analytics we stored for you.

Option 3 — Ask us to delete your data

If you can’t sign in, or you’d prefer we handle it, email support@postpost.ai with the subject “Data deletion request”. To help us locate your records, include the email address on your PostPost.ai account and, if relevant, the connected social handle (for example, your Facebook Page name or Instagram username). For security we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before we proceed.

What happens and how long it takes

Data held by the connected platforms themselves

Deleting your PostPost.ai data does not delete content that has already been published to, or data held by, the social platforms themselves. Posts already live on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or any other connected network remain there until you remove them on that platform, and each platform handles your data under its own privacy policy.
